Job Description / Duties

  • Develop, implement, and manage marketing strategies for conferences, trade shows, and corporate events, including international events
  • Plan and execute sponsorship marketing initiatives, including promotional campaigns and sponsor visibility support
  • Develop and manage ticket sales and registration marketing campaigns using email marketing, social media, and digital advertising
  • Coordinate digital marketing activities including website updates, email communications, and paid digital campaigns
  • Manage and create content for social media platforms related to events and company branding
  • Lead internal marketing initiatives to support business development, client acquisition, and brand growth
  • Prepare marketing and sales materials including proposals, sales presentations, credentials packages, and portfolios
  • Conduct interviews and moderate panel discussions for marketing and promotional purposes
  • Coordinate marketing video production including planning, filming coordination, and basic video editing
  • Monitor marketing performance metrics and prepare reports on campaign effectiveness
  • Ensure consistency of branding across all marketing materials and platforms
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external vendors
  • Travel domestically and internationally as required to support marketing activities

Employment Requirements

  • Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, business
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in marketing, preferably within events, conferences, or professional services
  • Experience with digital marketing, email marketing, and social media platforms
  • Experience with Registration platforms and building websites on Swoogo and Wordpress
  • Experience with sponsorship-driven and ticket-based marketing campaigns
  • International event experience and ability to travel internationally
  • Experience moderating panel discussions and conducting interviews
  • Production experience including coordination of video content and basic video editing
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages considered an asset
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • $105,000 - $112,000
