Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven and relationship-oriented Sales Account Executive to join our growing team in Calgary. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and driving sales growth in the construction and building materials sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with contractors, developers, architects, and distributors
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
- Prepare and present product proposals, quotations, and technical information
- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and product presentations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in building materials, construction, or related industries
- Strong network within Calgary's construction or real estate market is an asset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally
- Proficiency in English.
